As also sent to; Mark James, Chief Executive
Director of Regeneration and Leisure
County Hall
Carmarthen
Dear Sir,
We are writing to inform you that, in relation to our property at Cae Brwyn, we now refuse to recognise Carmarthenshire County Council as our Local Planning Authority for the following reasons;
1. Whilst Mr Eifion Bowen is employed by Carmarthenshire County Council in a planning role and as all planning decisions are made by or on his behalf, this council has now rendered itself incapable of making any decision involving ourselves or our property.
2. The degree to which certain senior officers of the Executive, Legal and Planning departments, including the Planning Committee, have been unlawfully involved in the legal case has now prevented these departments from making fair and open decisions regarding ourselves.
3. Due to general observations of planning inconsistencies and flawed decisions including those related directly to our family we now have completely lost confidence in the integrity of the relevant departments, and their ability to make open, fair decisions.
We repeat, as far as planning applications and planning issues are concerned involving our property, we refuse to recognise Carmarthenshire County Council as our Local Planning Authority.
With this in mind we inform you that we will be commencing construction of a residential dwelling, at Cae Brwyn forthwith. As the Head of Planning, Mr Eifion Bowen now has a financial interest in our property Cae Brwyn, we strongly suggest you seek expert legal advice before responding to this letter.
In the interests of transparency this letter has been placed on our website.
