There have been many rumours circulating over the past few days about a local law firm, John Owen Solicitors of Llandeilo. Mr Owen is also employed by Carmarthenshire County Council as the county coroner. This firm, incidentally, represented the Head of Planning, Eifion Bowen/Carmarthenshire Council in the libel case against me from 2006 onwards.
The facts of this matter, for the moment, remain unknown.

The Carmarthenshire coroner John Owen has had his practising certificate suspended by the SRA.
The SRA was unable to comment on the reasons for the suspension.
Mr Owen's offices, in Carmarthen Street, Llandeilo, were shut last week, with a sign on the door directing people to Llys Cennen Solicitors, Ammanford, which is understood to have taken on Mr Owen's open files.
In a statement on Monday an SRA spokesman said: "We can confirm we have intervened in the practice of John Owen Solicitors, Llandeilo.
"The practising certificate of Mr Owen has been suspended with immediate effect. SRA inquiries are still ongoing.
"Paul Caldicott of Morgan Cole LLP Swansea, has been appointed as agent acting on behalf of the SRA, and he will write to all clients of John Owen Solicitors about on-going business."
It is understood the SRA had a meeting with police earlier this week, although it is not clear whether police are considering any investigations themselves.
A spokeswoman said: "Dyfed- Powys Police is aware of SRA investigations into John Owen Solicitors. We are not in a position to make any further comment at this time."
